Who are Thriveherd?
We’re Thriveherd. We’re here to help you thrive at work and life.
Back in the days of their ‘traditional’ careers in large organisations, Paul and Silvana Talbot never imagined they’d one day run a business together.
But as time went on, by coincidence they both found themselves drawn into the world of coaching, finding greater purpose and fulfilment helping their stuck and frustrated colleagues make life and work better.
And so the future was written – even though they didn’t see it yet.
Some years later, with a growing family, Paul and Silvana each had independent coaching practices – but they gradually realised their impact was always going to be limited, working alone.
So Thriveherd was born.
Why Thriveherd? Well, it’s all about thriving together. A community of (com)passionate, experienced coaches working together with stuck, challenged or frustrated professionals to help them make positive change happen, both at work and in the rest of life.
Because if more people really thrive, the world will be a better place.
Meet Our Coaches
Suzi
As an international news journalist I saw the very best and worst of humanity. I understand how blessed many of us are to live in peace, safety and relative economic prosperity, and yet so many of us still spend our working lives in dread, feeling undervalued and unfulfilled.
Joanna
I chose to climb the ladder in my HR career. But over time I began to feel as though I was on the wrong side of the table. After decades of working in the corporate sector I pivoted towards something that meant I could make a more meaningful contribution to the lives of people I work with.
Justine
As a career coach, I've been through many of the same challenges my clients face. After being made redundant some years ago, I had to re-evaluate my own career path. That experience reignited my passion for coaching and helping others navigate difficult transitions. My values of optimism, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous growth are at the heart of how I empower my clients to take ownership of their inspirational career journeys.
Rachel
To the outside world I had it all: a successful legal career and a growing family. But on the inside my life was a whirlwind. I was exhausted, unhappy and unfulfilled. My search for balance led me to executive coaching. It was a fresh start that gave me whole new perspective. Now I’m passionate about helping others find that clarity.
Silvana
I entered the world of work with a law qualification and a passion to work in criminal justice. I wanted to "achieve". What that looked like, I wasn't sure, but I felt I'd know when I held the right title and the right salary! So that’s what I spent the next few years chasing – only to find that traditional idea of success wasn't right for me. Now I find meaning and fulfilment helping others define and achieve success on their own terms.
Paul
It took me a while to figure it out. I was tipped for a great career: a degree from Cambridge, a Masters from Durham. I moved from role to role, working all hours in large, high-pressure organisations – because that’s the definition of success, right? My mission is to help others identify what fulfilment looks like uniquely for them – and then make it happen.
Jenn
There have been a few points in my life when I’ve decided, ‘I don’t think this job is for me’. By my early 30s I’d gained an MBA, worked in law firms, and held HR positions in large corporations. But I still wasn’t doing anything that I found fulfilling, or even actually liked. But I figured it out – and 20+ years on, I’m doing what I love, helping others navigate the same journey.
Aubrie
I started out with a sociology degree and passion for helping others, but my path took a decade-long detour into corporate tech. It was intellectually challenging and professionally rewarding, however as time went on, it became more difficult to find purpose and meaning in what I was doing...
When I left the corporate world to work for a mentorship non-profit, I was overjoyed. And when that role ended due to redundancy, I was heartbroken. But the experience cemented what I already knew – to feel fulfilled at work, I need to make a positive difference in people’s lives, and doing that has been one of the greatest joys of my life.
